CREDIT WHERE DUE

Every hand on the record gets its name in writing.

“No one can get hurt.”

A song is made by more hands than the name on the cover. This free tool builds the credit sheet for a record — writers, producers, engineers, musicians, the studio — every role spelled out and every hand named, before the record goes out. Everything runs in your browser — nothing you type is sent anywhere.

Credit Where Due is free for independent artists and labels, forever. Put it on your home screen like any app — no store, no account, no cost, and it works offline once it's yours. Keep it next to the session notes, where the credits are still fresh.

On iPhone: tap Share, then "Add to Home Screen."  ·  On Android: tap the menu (⋮), then "Install app" or "Add to Home screen." The mark lands on your phone, and the sheet travels with you.

The Sheet — Who Did The Work

Start with the record, then name every hand that touched it — one row per person, company, or studio, with the role spelled out. A row that carries a role or a note but no name stops the sheet cold: an unnamed hand is an unfinished sheet. Blank rows don't count. When every started row is named, the sheet prints.

Named hands:0 Name at least one contributor — the sheet prints when every started row is named.

Keep this sheet with the record's paper. Build it again when the credits change.
